Weekend Lineup (for the kids): October 12-15

Newsies
The Pickwick Players production of the Newsies explodes onto stage this weekend and next at Belmont Ridge Middle School in Leesburg. This family-friendly version of the Broadway smash hit musical is filled with tons of action, rousing songs, and amazing choreography. It is a heart-warming tale is filled with local talent and led by a veteran theatre and creative team. Come out to support this local production!

 

Back to School Blowout for Middle Schoolers
This much-anticipated free outdoor festival and concert just for the middle school crowd in this Saturday in Round Hill from 3-6 p.m. Kids can enjoy live music, ice cream, and seriously awesome games and activities, including the Bungee Run, Demolition Ball, Obstacle Course, Rock Wall, Swimming, Gladiator Joust, Field Games, and more!

 

Fall Festival
The Cascades Fall Festival 
is this Saturday from 12-4 p.m. in the Potomac Fall High School Parking Lot. Mechanical Bull, anyone? In addition to testing your riding skills, you can enjoy carnival games, hay rides, an obstacle course, pumpkin painting, music, food, and much more.

 

Oktoberfest: A Family Affair
This Saturday from 12-4 p.m. at the Cascades Overlook Town Center is hosting an Oktoberfest for all ages. Food, beer, wine, music and tons of fun for the kiddos, including an obstacle course, petting zoo, pumpkin carving and pie eating contest, and more.

 

Brambleton Model Home Tour
Yep, a model home tour. Not only can you check out 20 different super awesome model homes in Brambleton this Saturday and Sunday, you also have the chance to win four bikes, gift cards to Ahso Restaurant and Blue Ridge Grill and lots of other fun prizes.
