Cinderella, Cinderella at StageCoach Theatre for Young Audiences
This interactive show is sure to be a hit with your little prince and princesses. In “Cinderella, Cinderella”, members of the audience will be invited on stage to be a part of the show. Help Cinderella clean her stepmother’s house or get dressed for the ball or even dance at the ball yourself! Young audience members are encouraged to wear their finest outfits and gowns for the ball. Reservations recommended. Catch the show on Saturdays September 8th, 15th & 22nd.
Virginia Indian Festival
American Indian Tribes from Virginia come together at Riverbend Park in Great Falls on Saturday to celebrate Native American culture. Enjoy demonstrations, dancers, drummers, and an artisan market. There is no shortage of hands-on activities at this festival, which include throwing spears, shooting bows, making a dugout canoe, and exploring a longhouse.
Dog Swims & Pet Expo
The pools may be closed for humans, but our furry friend gets one more chance to enjoy a good pool party. There are several Dog Swims happening here in Loudoun this weekend, including the Franklin Park Dog Swim on Sunday in Purcellville. The dog swim is happening at the Loudoun Pet Expo, which is includes pet-friendly vendors, demos, as well as kids activities, food, music and more.
Family Fun for Families in Need this Sunday from 2-6 p.m. Join INMED Partnerships for Children for its 3rd annual Barn Blast to support the Family & Youth Opportunity Center in Sterling. The center serves area disadvantaged children and low-income families. Enjoy live music by local favorite Juliana MacDowell, a yummy BBQ meal from ResQ BBQ, libations, dancing, live and silent auctions and games and activities for all ages.
