EatLoCo is opening an Indoor Market at Village of Leesburg

Back in February EatLoCo announced to Inside Loudoun that it would partner with ChefScape, a commercial shared kitchen and food business incubator, to open a weekly indoor market in the space formerly occupied by Smokehouse Live in the Village of Leesburg, once it was remodeled. Today EatLoCo moved up that timeline and said it will open an indoor market in temporary space, in the Village of Leesburg across from Cobb Theater and next to Plow and Hearth, on Thursday, May 17th. Industry hours, for restaurant and professionals, will be 3-4 p.m. followed by open shopping for all from 4-7 p.m.

The timing lets restaurants and chefs, as well as the community, begin to count on EatLoCo’s indoor market for their weekend menu-planning and shopping. Once ChefScape completes the build-out of the new space, EatLoCo’s indoor marketplace will move to that location.

While they are in temporary digs, EatLoCo will have lots of room to spread out – more than 7,000 square feet! That’s plenty of room for up to 80 vendors, pop-up restaurants, and ChefScape’s chefs doing demos. With four other Loudoun locations throughout the week, EatLoCo has strong connections to lots of area farmers, vendors and artisans so we’re eagerly anticipating the vendor list for Thursdays.

Inside Loudoun will be LIVE on May 17th when the EatLoCo marketplace opens. Join us there or watch the livestream on our Facebook page.
